Medpods North Lakes

Medpods are an innovative and unique take on modern medical centres, designed to fit into modern shopping malls throughout Australia. Medpods came to Interite Healthcare Interiors with the need to design a medical space, which reflects just that, whilst also keeping a spacious perception influencing accessibly and a welcoming exterior and interior.

Interite Healthcare Interiors successfully achieved this, and were able to provide an aesthetically pleasing, fast and efficient medical centre; whilst adhering to both the shopping centre and healthcare regulations and restrictions.

The modern design of the bulk-billed medical centre utilises effective lighting to facilitate a clean, warm and welcoming environment, which was a key consideration as the location lacks the element of natural lighting within the shopping centre. This is coupled with the use of a sophisticated and inviting colour palette, reflecting the branding of the Medpods franchise.

The unique design of the reception area is positioned to welcome patients immediately upon entry, with the waiting area and main consultation areas cleverly designed to efficiently flow from that entrance point; improving workflow, time-keeping and overall patient experience. This effective flow is also assisted with the use of wayfinding, created by the design implementation of easily associated symbols throughout the space.
