What authority approvals are required?

Depending on the type, you may require building approval (BA) and development approval (DA) for your project.

You may also require approval from the tenancy manager or building owner and consider the current zoning and whether any rezoning application needs to be made.

Lastly, it’s imperative you meet your occupancy requirements as well as the Licensing and Accreditation Regulatory Unit (LARU) requirements.

All this running around can be complicated and time-consuming. As specialists in this complex industry, Interite has the connections and experience to handle all of these authority approvals on your behalf to remove the stress and let you focus on your core business.

What if I receive a cheaper quote?

The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ is certainly true in design and construct. Although some quotes may look cheaper up front, it’s critical to understand what is included in that price and what is not. The most common mistake people make is signing up for a cheap price and then getting stung with variations for items they thought were included.

At Interite Healthcare, our AWC project planning and costing tool has been designed by our team and with input from industry experts to accurately assess your needs and provide pricing which can be relied upon.

Interite is committed to providing a holistic price which covers all expected works and ensures any variations are minimised.

If you do have a particular project budget in mind, lets us know so we can recommend the most appropriate course of action based on that figure.

What is the most important first step in coming up with a project quote?

Before you do anything or commit any funds, we encourage you to invest in your project through our Vision & Strategy meeting which is a free, no-obligation session with our experts to get to the heart of your project and understand what you want to achieve. This conversation helps set the course and reduces mistakes and changes down the track.

When should I get Interite Healthcare Interiors  involved in my project?

Yesterday! Yes that’s right, the sooner the better. With over 63% of the value of your project ‘spent’ before and during the design phase, the need to get us involved early on is critical to saving you time and money.

How much does a project cost?

When it comes to cost, every project, just like every practice, is unique. However, projects generally fall into the below scale:

Scale – D&C of healthcare / medical clinic Cost per square m2
Simple $750-$1,000

What type of acoustic or sound annuity do I need to consider for my clinic?

Noise and privacy are critical considerations which are sometimes overlooked in planning stages.

However. these considerations are vital and should be guided by those who are regularly exposed to these issues and involved in designing the most appropriate solutions to counter them. Contact us for more information.

How do I know what’s going on during the construction phase?

We understand how important it is to feel informed. That’s why our project team engages in weekly PCG (‘Project Control Group’) meetings with all stakeholders providing status reports and reporting issued to the client to make sure we’re all on the same page.
