How to Create an Inclusive Aged Care Environment
Why inclusive design makes good business sense.
Perhaps more than any other time, our senior years are marked with the need to connect with others. Therefore, aged care service providers need to carefully assess their facilities to ensure they aren’t missing out on what is very discerning consumer group.
Interite Healthcare Interiors is committed to integrating a Human Centred Design methodology into all its design proposals, tapping in to the consumer driven desire for patients to feel at home in a healthcare setting.
Mercy Place in Mandurah enjoyed the integration of a café, children’s play area, alfresco seating, sensory gardens and even a mini golf course to attract and cater for a wide demographic, ensuring the holistic needs of patients – from medical care to family get-togethers.
